Many of the students with neurological disorders that are referred to Parkaire have accompanying learning struggles. Students are screened for these difficulties and given intensive, specialized instruction and assistance to allow them to be available to learn and to succeed academically.
Educational Therapists
An educational therapist is a professional who is trained to develop learning strategies, along with the ability to screen for the underlying problems that interfere with a student being successful. Educational therapists can identify patterns the student has developed that interfere with learning, then recommend a plan to remediate these deficits. They may make recommendations to other services the student and family may need.

- Provide original published material for specific learning issues due to neurological disorders as a resource for parents and educators.
- Speak internationally and provide training for healthcare professionals in the neurological disorders that Parkaire specializes in such as ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Tic Disorders, Mood Disorders and Executive Dysfunction.
Educational Consultants
Parkaire educational consultants have specialized training in academic, social, behavioral, and neurological disorders that allow for a more comprehensive assessment and treatment of educational issues.

Academic Therapists
An academic therapist is trained in learning disabilities as well as the educational impact of having a neurological disorder on specific academics. Academic therapists have extensive experience solving problems of students with complex educational problems.
Services provided by the academic therapist:
- Working 1:1 with students who have learning disabilities.
- Helping students whose behaviors interfere with learning.
- Co-treating with occupational therapy until the student is regulated enough to be instructed alone with the academic therapist.
- Getting students who have given up return to successful learning.
- Written expression and spelling remediation
- Math remediation including the Linda-Mood Bell Cloud Nine Math Program.
- SSAT and SAT Prep
- Executive dysfunction coaches
- College coaches
- Educational training for parents and teachers.
