Linda Robinson, M.Ed.

Career Coach

Linda is a professional career and educational consultant with over 25 years of career life planning experience. She specializes in career advisement, coaching, and testing for high school and college students, and persons with learning challenges. She has a passion for helping people discover their untapped potential and to learn about the possibilities available for each individual.

Ms. Robinson holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Masters of Education, both from the University of Florida. She is qualified in use of the Myers Brigg Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory.  She began her career as a counselor for Vocational Rehabilitation, helping persons with disabilities make successful career decisions. She has worked as a career and educational consultant with a variety of high school systems and as an academic advisor at the college level.  For over 20 years she has taught a class on career assessment for the Emory University Center for Life Long Learning.

In addition, Ms. Robinson has worked with clients for all walks of life, from corporate clients in need of career transition services to retirees looking for new interests.  As a result, she has a broad understanding of career life planning issues.  Organizational clients include BellSouth Services, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, the Internal Revenue Service, the Emory Center for Lifelong Learning, Sears,  the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Civil Rights, CDC (NIOSH), The Peace Corps, F.D.I.C, the Institute of Industrial Engineers, DuPont Medical Products, Jewish Family and Career Services, Shorter College, Mercer University, Spelman College, and Georgia State University.

Ms. Robinson believes wholeheartedly in giving back to her community and fostering the growth of young people.  She has been an active member of Cool Girls and has been a Cool Sister (mentor) for over five years.
