Wednesday Adolescent Group Information


Who: Led by Sheryl K. Pruitt, M.Ed., ET/P and Mary Jane Trotti, M.A., ET/P

What: A therapeutic group for adolescents, grades 9-12, with neurological disorders.

When: Wednesday afternoon, 4:50 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where: Parkaire Consultants, Inc.

Why: This is a group for adolescents with neurological disorders such as ADHD, Tourette syndrome, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Mood Disorders. The group provides information about their disorder and how it impacts their academics, behavior, and social skills. The group is made up of two main parts: the first half is a curriculum of more sophisticated social skills that can cause teenagers’ problems. The second half of the group is a chance for teenagers to talk about their specific needs and acquire support from the group in addition to strategies to help resolve their issues.

Cost: $60 per session.
